    Run for MNEA-Retired office or delegate


    If you are a MNEA-Retired member and would like to run for office or delegate, declare your candidacy between March 1 and March 15, 2021. The following positions are up for election.

    • President
    • Vice President
    • Historian
    • Budget
    • Board of Directors
    • Executive Council Member-at-Large
    • PAC Delegate
    • Delegate to the NEA-Retired and NEA Representative Assemblies in Denver (Summer 2021)
    • Delegate to the MNEA Representative Assemblies (fall 2021, 2022 and spring 2022, 2023)

    Complete the online declaration of candidacy form to declare your candidacy. The form will open March 1 and close March 15. The election will take place online, and will be open April 7 and close at 5 p.m. April 21, 2021.

    Like it or not, we live in changing times. The expense of printing and mailing our association newsletter has become prohibitive. Most of our current members prefer the electronic, full-color edition of "Focus." MNEA must have your current email address in order for you to receive the electronic version, as well as to be included in our MNEA-Retired listserv. You must do one of the following to opt-in to receive your copy of the MNEA-Retired newsletter.
